Co-Playable Character
We aim to provide CPC, “co-playable character” that can play alongside the player, enhancing immersion and offering an experience similar to playing with a friend. To achieve this, KRAFTON AI is developing an integrated solution that combines LM(Language Model) for comprehensive game awareness and decision-making, RL(Reinforcement Learning) for natural gameplay, and HAII(Human-AI Interaction design) to foster close relationships and engaging conversations. Specifically, the LM is being developed as a specialized, lightweight “Gaming SLM” optimized for fast and efficient use within the game.
AI for Games
We aim to revolutionize the game development process and bring new excitement to games by securing foundational technologies in various AI fields. Together with the InZOI development team, we have undertaken numerous challenging projects to apply AI to games. Notably, our technology that converts user-uploaded images into 3D objects is the world’s first instance of introducing AI into gaming. Beyond InZOI, we are continuously developing deep learning technologies applicable to games in collaboration with various game studios at KRAFTON.
KRafton Intelligence System
We have independently developed an AI system called KRIS (KRafton Intelligence System) to maximize internal work efficiency through AI. KRIS serves as an intelligent AI assistant that connects dispersed internal data into a unified database, providing fast and accurate personalized answers to each individual employee.
Deep Learning in Game

Our goal is to make games more immersive and fun by directly involving deep learning technologies in gameplay. We can present more enjoyable game environments to players by making attempts like adding reinforcement learning-based agent players to games.
